Before CMO’s can apply IT to solve their marketing problems they need to separate the hype from the reality, and understand what bleeding edge technology is really likely to offer in the future.
Will Artificial Intelligence run marketing campaigns without human intervention? What threats and opportunities does the Internet of Things offer the CMO? Will data collection and analysis become completely automated? Does Augmented Reality really work as a marketing tool?
In the first in our series of six lectures Marc Silvester will look at these and other questions, and give his views on how developing technologies will help or hinder modern CMO’s, what can they look forward to and what should they fear.
