Business Lecture Two - The 2020 CMO
Cyber Security and Privacy - Threats and Opportunities
Cyber security breaches are constantly on our front pages as companies and government agencies are seriously impacted by financial, IP and reputational losses as threat actors become ever more sophisticated and capable.
Cyber security is now an issue for all members of the senior leadership team of companies not just the IT Director! The imminent enactment into UK law of the EU GDPR and NIS (security of Networks and Information Systems) Directives in late May 2018 brings a new range of challenges and some opportunities for the CMO.
In the second in our series of six lectures Dr Henry Pearson will address how CMO’s should be preparing their companies to make the most of these opportunities while facing up to the threats that they create.
Following Henry’s presentation there will be time for questions and then an opportunity for discussion over some sandwiches and a glass or two of wine.
