Cambridge Conference - 21st Century Marketing
The Worshipful Company of Marketors, Cambridge Judge Business School and Fujitsu invite you to explore the future of marketing at this one-day conference.
The new developments in information and communications technology (ICT) are having a profound effect on societies and cultures across the globe, and the rate of change will continue to accelerate. One thing is certain; turning back is now not possible. We have built and are building our global society on ICT, and will continue to do so.
There is no doubt the right use of ICT can deliver immeasurable benefits. However, technologists can only deliver us the tools. We must decide how to use them. Marketers, in particular, must come to grips with and understand the new technology, or they will become increasingly unable to communicate with their customers, and increasingly irrelevant in the marketplace. Thus, as Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, I want to examine the way in which these developments will affect the profession of marketing.
For this conference 21st Century Marketing - the Worshipful Company of Marketors, Cambridge Judge Business School and Fujitsu have put together a team of leading academics, technologists and marketing practitioners who will examine the possibilities generated by the new developments in ICT and suggest how marketers can make best use of them. This is a unique opportunity to hear about the future of marketing from some of the people who are already helping to shape it.
