On a sunny Saturday morning Marketors and their guests met outside Holborn tube where our intrepid guide Sue was waiting to take us exploring through Lincoln’s Inn Fields. And yes they were fields in days gone bye.
Striding across Holborn to Waterhouse Square we came across the only statue (well, bust actually) of Charles Dickens before passing Hatton Garden en route to Ely Place.
With a quick nod at Smithfield we enjoyed a comprehensive tour of St Bartholomew The Great.
Lunch at the Rising Sun provided a delicious end to our walk.
