It has just been announced that Liveryman Keith Weed, Unilever’s global marketing chief, is to be the next President of the History of Advertising Trust, succeeding Sir John Hegarty, and he will spearhead the charity’s efforts to build its profile with the client community.
Keith will be a keynote speaker at our one-day conference ‘Is Marketing for Good the Future of Marketing?’ which will be held in New College, Oxford on Friday 2nd September. Book here
As Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at the world’s second biggest advertiser and a 33-year Unilever veteran, Keith heads the 6,000-strong Marketing function, working on such brands as Dove, Lipton, Vaseline and Ben & Jerry’s. He is also responsible for Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan. This seeks to decouple the company’s growth from its environmental footprint while increasing its positive social impact and he will be talking about this at the conference.
