Company Governance

The Company is governed by a Court of Assistants. Each year the Court elects from its ranks a Master together with a Senior, Middle and Junior Warden. The Court is responsible for policy, strategy and overall management of the Company and appoints a Clerk to manage its day-to-day affairs.

In addition to the Master, Wardens and Past Masters, the Court consists of a number of Court Assistants. The Master chairs the ‘Master and Wardens’ Committee and in addition there are a number of other standing committees. These are generally chaired by Court Members who report back to the Court.

Aim One – Actively supporting the Mayoralty and the City of London Corporation
