Enjoy a tutored beer tasting and tour of the UK’s largest craft beer brewery
There have been recent Marketors’ trips to a gin distillery just off Fleet Street and to a winery in Fulham. Now we’re organising a trip to a craft brewery in Greenwich.
Launched in 2009, the Meantime Brewing Company is the largest brewery to open in the capital since the 1930s. In 2016 it was voted the best brewery tour in the UK by Trip Advisor.
The tour and tutored tasting will start at 10:30am and will last two hours. Over this time, our guide will take us on a journey about why our beer smells, tastes and looks like it does. We will also learn about the history of beer. After tasting around six craft beers, we will take a walkthrough of their state-of-the-art operation.
We will then enjoy a two course lunch in the pub adjoining the brewery. The brewery shop sells its full range of beers, so we will have the opportunity to buy any of the beers we sampled during
Price: £40 (inc VAT) Includes the tour and a two course lunch. Excludes drinks at lunch and any additional food you may wish to buy (eg. dessert).
Please note that this is an all inclusive special price for the brewery tour and lunch. It won’t be possible to come to the tour only or the lunch only.
As usual, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and all applications will be acknowledged by email.
Deadline: 27 April 2017
