Empowering Small Charities to Deliver Impactful Marketing Campaigns
City of London, 24th September 2024 – Following the success of its previous editions, the Worshipful Company of Marketors is pleased to announce the launch of its Marketors’ Charity Grants Programme for 2024. This initiative, funded by The Marketors' Trust, aims to empower smaller charities by providing crucial financial support and expert marketing advice, helping them run impactful campaigns that advance their causes.
The programme is open to independent UK-based charities with an annual income between £10,000 and £200,000, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. The application window closes on 29th November 2024, with the successful charities to be announced by the end of the year.
Professor Ian Ryder, Master of the Worshipful Company of Marketors, commented:
“The Charity Grants Programme offers smaller charities an invaluable opportunity to elevate their marketing efforts, increasing their visibility, particularly in the areas of fundraising and volunteer recruitment. By raising awareness and driving donations, these charities can secure long-term sustainability and continue their important work.”
Six charities will be chosen to benefit from a total fund of £30,000, with two major grants of £10,000 each, and four additional grants of £2,500 each. Shortlisted charities will have the opportunity to present their marketing proposals directly to a panel of judges, led by the Chairman of The Marketors' Trust.
David Cowell, Chairman of the Trust, added:
“We are looking for campaigns that demonstrate creativity, passion, and clear objectives. Winning charities will need to convince us that their campaigns are well-thought-out and likely to achieve significant results. Our aim is to support causes that are committed to making a real difference, with a marketing strategy that maximises impact.”
